For CrypKey Instant and CrypKey SDK customers, CrypKey USBKey is a 32 MB to 4 GB flash drive software license management solution that offers an alternative to the common dongle protection method. Unlike traditional dongle solutions, which hold only the authorization codes to unlock software, CrypKey USBKey can hold a software application and its license.

The system requirements of CrypKey USBKey are:

  • CrypKey Instant or CrypKey SDK
  • Windows 2003, XP, Vista, Windows 7 (32 and 64 bit)
  • 133 MHz or higher Pentium-compatible CPU.
  • 64 megabytes (MB) of RAM recommended minimum
  • 2GB hard disk with a minimum of 650MB of free space
