Event Transfer Module
MatrikonOPC History Link is available with an optional Event Transfer Module (ETM). The ETM adds tremendous value to this robust OPC Client by enabling users to capture event-relative historical data. The ETM data can then be used for trouble-shooting, sequence of events analysis and reporting.

MatrikonOPC History Link benefits users who are currently collecting or storing historical data using event triggers, OPC History Link is a quick and easy way to transfer historical data.

The ETM operates by recording high frequency real-time event-relevant data and then transfers it to the Enterprise historian for ling-term storage and analysis.

Typical uses:
Automated transfer of data: MatrikonOPC History Link can be scheduled to regularly and automatically transfer historical data generated by Remote Terminal Units (RTU), Analyzers, or other devices to a centralized process historian or CSV file. This makes it a perfect fit for SCADA environments where data is collected remotely and needs to be transferred to the enterprise level for analysis and/or long-term storage.

Multi-site data migration and synchronization:
MatrikonOPC History Link seamlessly facilitates the transfer and synchronization of historical data from archived sources of data to one or more databases or CSV files

Trip Capture:
Having sub-second historical data for analysis is extremely useful for post-trip analysis. The MatrikonOPC History Link captures sub-second data surrounding a trip event (or any significant event) and delivers the data to the operation's existing process historian; analyze the sub-second process data using the analysis tools already deployed!

Batch Capture:
